Leaving for France

After arriving just a fortnight ago in this lovely home, I have been informed that we shall be traveling to France tomorrow morn.  While I'm grateful to be included in this adventure, I am saddened to discover that I must leave my quill and book at home.  How shall I ever enjoy myself, for these are my favorites.

I have also learned that our travel will not be by ship but on a large bird that people climb inside.  It then flies across the ocean and then the people climb out.  I cannot picture in my mind how this should be so.

We leave so very early in the morning and with no servants to help us dress.
